Stefan Heyer, author, writer
writes poetry, prose

Nature poetry is en vogue. Poems are also often written about heart and pain. Stefan Heyer's poetry takes a different path. His poems come into contact with images and texts, and deal with art and philosophy. Holy gods of Expressionism are met, French philosophers discussed, art-aesthetic discussions conducted. In a light tone not alien to irony, the poems correspond with works by Richter, take Benn to the morgue, and traverse the concept of Deleuze and Guattari. Petrol stations and cafés of art history are written, Basho's search for enlightenment is followed, postcards are sent. Postcards to Paris and Vienna. Freud and Derrida are not the recipients.
